Our Story

Let’s Change How We

Inspire Generosity.

Community Collective Group works with media, creative, legal, business, and computer experts in each community, expanding staff as necessary to optimize fundraising performance and minimize overhead. Our approach can help any non-profit boost community awareness, and in so doing strengthen its financial clout and expand its support base!

All it takes is one honest story, real-time data analysis, and the emotional reach of Discrete Direct Response.

Maybe a subtitle? Just maybe!

Nicholas Lester and Elson Mullahi, two marketing veterans responsible for many iconic advertisements and products in America and the world, founded Community Collective Group with the sole purpose of helping selected non-profits break out of traditional and limiting fundraising efforts. The goal for each non-profit is the same: More Donors, More Empathy, More Giving through the power of Discrete Direct Response.

The pair has developed both business-to-business and business-to-consumer campaigns that have sold goods and services in over 60 countries, to the tune of more than $1.5 billion.

““We would use direct response methods to boost awareness and support for humanitarian, not-for-profit causes; in particular, those seeking to help children anywhere in the world.””

““I was done writing ads and making millions of dollars for companies selling products and services that were frivolous… and sometimes downright detrimental to people and to our planet.””

Upon retirement, Nicholas turned his skills to helping specific causes gain traction and momentum using the methods he helped develop for commercial enterprises. “I was done writing ads and making millions of dollars for companies selling products and services that were frivolous… and sometimes downright detrimental to people and to our planet.”

“After working together for almost two decades,” explains Elson, “Nick and I decided we would use direct response methods to boost awareness and support for humanitarian, not-for-profit causes; in particular, those seeking to help children anywhere in the world.”

Elson’s European roots and Nicholas’ overseas experience means Community Collective Group is international in scope but locally focused.
